As part of its commitment to widening access to international tertiary education, MCCI Business School recently carried out a roadshow in Rodrigues. The visit was characterised by strong engagement and constructive exchanges with the local education community.
A key highlight of this initiative was the Open Day held on 28 January. Students, prospective learners and working professionals were able to explore the international programmes offered by MCCI Business School. These programmes are delivered in collaboration with leading institutions, including the University of London. The event clearly reflected the growing interest among the Rodriguan population in flexible distance learning options, enabling learners to study from Rodrigues while obtaining internationally recognised qualifications.
The MCCI Business School team also visited several secondary schools across the island, including Maréchal, Songes, Mont Lubin and Grande-Montagne colleges. These visits encouraged open discussions with students around academic pathways, career prospects and the skills required in both regional and global labour markets. They underlined the importance of personalised academic guidance from an early stage, supporting young people in developing clear and ambitious study plans.
In addition, MCCI Business School participated in two information days during the Career Guidance Expo, organised by the Education Commission of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly. The event brought together schools, students awaiting their examination results, and professionals seeking to enhance their skills or progress in their careers through flexible learning solutions.
This visit to Rodrigues reinforces a shared conviction at MCCI Business School : international education is a key driver of sustainable development and individual advancement. The institution remains fully committed to guiding every learner towards a borderless academic and professional future.
